SoliBoard PCW100 HT

SoliBoard™ PCW100 HT is the cost-effective counterpart of SoliBoard™ PCW100 HT INO. Together, they represent the highest-performance insulation boards within the SoliBoard™ range. Manufactured from 100% Poly Crystalline Wool (PCW) fibres and featuring a classification temperature of 1600°C, SoliBoard™ PCW100 HT is engineered for demanding thermal applications where long-term reliability and process stability are essential.

SoliBoard™ PCW100 HT has a density of 280 kg/m³ and is factory bonded with approximately 8% organic binders. During the initial firing cycle, these binders burn out, leaving a stable insulation structure based on high-purity PCW-mullite fibres containing ≥72% Al₂O₃. As the fibres have already been crystallized during manufacture, the board offers excellent resistance to pollutants, chemical attack, and challenging furnace atmospheres, including reducing conditions.

The combination of high-purity PCW fibres, low thermal conductivity, and excellent chemical stability makes SoliBoard™ PCW100 HT the preferred choice for applications where users wish to avoid RCF-based insulation materials from a health and safety perspective. It is particularly well suited for continuous operating temperatures of 1300°C and above, as well as laboratory furnaces, technical ceramics, high-temperature kilns, and other demanding thermal process equipment.
