Continuous Production for Superior Quality

SoliBoard is manufactured using a unique continuous production process. Unlike conventional insulation boards produced in batch-operated vacuum forming systems, SoliBoard is made on a state-of-the-art continuous board line.

Every SoliBoard starts with our proprietary Generation III Ultra Low Shot fibre. The exceptionally low shot content enables lightweight boards with outstanding mechanical strength. The near absence of coarse shot particles also improves machinability, minimizing the risk of surface imperfections or “skid marks” during CNC machining. The result is a cleaner finish, improved dimensional accuracy and reduced tool wear.

We believe that approximately 50% of product quality is determined by superior raw materials, while the other 50% is achieved through advanced manufacturing technology and precise process control.

Inspired by Fourdrinier technology, a carefully controlled mixture of fibres, binder and water is continuously formed into a board before entering our advanced drying process.

Our fully PLC-controlled production line extends over approximately 260 meters, integrating every step from wet mixing and board forming through drying, finishing and palletizing. Operating at a production width of 1200 mm, the line ensures exceptional consistency, quality and efficiency.

A key differentiator is our proprietary drying technology, combining forced-air and microwave drying. After forming, the board still contains significant moisture that must be removed efficiently and uniformly. This drying system delivers several important advantages:

• 30-40% lower energy consumption compared to conventional drying technologies.
• Reduced water consumption through efficient water recuperation and recovery.
• Board thicknesses up to 100 mm, enabled by uniform drying throughout the board, including the core.
• Minimal binder migration, ensuring consistent density, strength and performance from surface to core

The result is a lightweight, dimensionally stable, ultra-low-shot insulation board with exceptional consistency, thermal performance and mechanical strength.

Manufactured to tight thickness tolerances and exceptional flatness, SoliBoard offers superior CNC machinability. Complex shapes can be produced with excellent precision and repeatability, making SoliBoard ideal for boilers, heaters and other demanding thermal insulation applications.
