Niek test – SoliFelt™ X-grade

The SoliFelt™ product range consists of latex bonded fiber board products which remain flexible after production. As a result, SoliFelt™ can be used in applications where the end user requires the strength of a board product with the flexibility and resiliency to ensure a mechanical seal.

SoliFelt™ X-grade is manufactured from our Generation III, Ultra Low Shot RCF fiber and selected organic binders. As a result of the ULS technology, SoliFelt™ X-grade is smoother and stronger. With a classification temperature of 1260°C it is recommended for use up to 1100°C. The maximum continuous use temperature is a guideline and only applicable in a clean oxidizing atmosphere.

All SoliWool products share the Ultra Low Shot technology, developed to achieve the highest possible thermal insulation value, higher strength, greater resiliency after compression and better handling. The result is a very smooth surface, close dimensional tolerances, exceptionally low dust and better thermal insulating performance thanks to the superior fiber index.
